Sutton Activities Coordination Board (SAC)

In 2004 a Non Profit organization was formed to provide activities for the youth of our small rural community. Sutton is a bedroom community with a high percentage of unemployed and low income families. A lack of local facilities and planned activities leave young people with little to do that interests them and is constructive. Too much free time and leads to destructive behavior. Our goal is to involve youth in planning and participating in family-oriented community activities. We hope that youth will develop pride in Sutton through these activities which will ultimately lead to a better feeling about living here and taking care of our community.
